The BEST Disneyland Park Snacks!

While we have definitely enjoyed our fair share of tasty meals at the Disneyland Parks, it's the between-meal-treats that are often our favorites. Shh... don't tell the Plaza Inn fried chicken ;) Seriously though, there are few places on the planet that do snacks like Disneyland. So, don't miss out!

Here are the best of the best (in our humble opinion):)

1. Churros! Seriously, they are the stuff of snacking dreams. Always crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly delicious all around. The classic cinnamon and sugar is a Disneyland foodie must, but the parks also have an array of specialty flavors at different holiday celebrations, and as you might have guessed, we recommend them ALL! :)

2. Dole Whips! This frozen pineapple treat is as tasty as it is refreshing. You can get it served alone or with an added splash of pineapple juice. Either way, it's SO GOOD!

Pro tip: The line is often shorter inside the Tikki Room waiting area (versus the line on the outside).

3. Popcorn! It's always warm, buttery and delicious! But you can take your Disneyland popcorn eating game to the next level when you purchase it served in a special, collectible container. They usually have new designs every few months, as well as at most holiday events, so... grab yourself a snack and a souvenir in one stop! :)

4. Beignets! If you have never had one... RUN, don't walk! :) Seriously though, these warm, fried bread treats, doused in powdered sugar, are absolutely amazing and should be consumed at least once per trip.

5. Pickles! What can we say? They are fresh and juicy and ENORMOUS! If you are craving a healthy, inexpensive snack, this will definitely satisfy.

6. Caramel Apples! As with most things at Disneyland, the classic is always good! But you can also find apples of various flavors and designs (think adorable, Disney characters) throughout the parks, so be on the lookout! And, trust us, you don't want to leave the park without at least one of these tasty creations in your possession :)

Pro tip: These also make great gifts (if you can transport them safely).

7. Mickey Pretzels! They are as cute as they are yummy, so don't forget to take a pic enjoying this special park snack.

8. Handmade Candies! There are SO MANY tempting candy treats at the Disneyland Parks! Just visit any of the many candy stores, and you can take your pick of the handmade offerings. We prefer those covered in chocolate, but there is definitely something for everyone.

Pro tip: You can sometimes catch a glimpse of one of the park candy makers in action. Somehow... seeing the process makes the candy taste EVEN BETTER :)

9. Jack-Jack Nom Nom Cookies! This is our most recent snacking find, and we LOVED it! It is a perfectly baked, ooey-gooey, HUGE cookie snack. It is certainly big enough for sharing, though you may not want to :)

10. Cotton Candy! One of our family's traditions (especially when we are accompanied by the nieces and nephews) is to get a big bag (or 2) for sharing. There are few things more nostalgic than having this sugary snack melting in your mouth.

Pro tip: On our last trip, we found a “glitter" offering at Bing-Bongs Sweet Shop on Pixar Pier, so if you want to turn your cotton candy enjoyment into a full-on party experience, there is always that option :)

Please let us know in the comments what you think of our snack favorites, and perhaps share some of your own!
