Disney Halloween!

We are just returning from our first ever Halloween at Disneyland, and let me tell you... it did not disappoint. The special decorations and attraction theming and... ALL.THE.FOODS!!! This is definitely a special season to be at the Disney parks.

Our Halloween park favorites:

1. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! Especially the fireworks show. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that it was the best fireworks display I have seen... in my entire life. And I think it alone would justify the price of admission. Luckily, there were also special, Halloween character meets, and a delightfully spooky parade. Not to mention, the ride lines were shockingly short throughout the entire event. AND there was free candy galore!

2. THE TREATS!!! No, but seriously, there were SO MANY delicious, Halloween treats at the parks. The caramel apples, and the cakes, and the cookies, and THE CHURROS! We especially loved the Black Rose Dessert and the Pumpkin Spice Churro. In fact, we loved the Pumpkin Spice Churro SO MUCH that we had 1 per day... for 3 days!

3. Trick-or-Tea at the Disneyland Hotel! This was BY FAR the highlight of my Disney Halloween experience. While it is a little pricey (and it can be a bit tricky to get a reservation), this high tea is worth the investment of your time and money. The tea selection is extensive (and amazing), and the themed sandwiches and desserts were as delicious as they were adorable. I especially loved my Apple Pie tea paired with the Poison Apple Tart. Delicious!

Overall, I would have to give our Halloween park experience two thumbs up! So, if you have been considering a trip at this time of year... DO IT!
